Conduct Rules
Please make sure you read and understand the Kleinmeer Rules of Conduct, which were given to you when you purchased your unit/signed your lease agreement. They are there to protect us all, and to ensure that our investments are not undermined.
Here are a few salient points that need to be mentioned at this stage:
Security Signs
No signage may be attached to the outside of buildings. We have liaised with the security companies about this, who have ensured us that they respond to the street number, rather than the sign.
Parking
Parking in the roads, on the sidewalks, in the gardens or on the grass in the common areas is not allowed. Please restrict parking to your exclusive use bay, driveway and garage. Residents may park in vacant visitor parking bays from 21:00 to 08:00 on a “first come first serve” basis.
Dogs
People walking their dogs are requested to clean up after their pets. We all want our homes and the surrounding areas to be kept clean, and this is not the job of the gardening services. Please note that dogs are NOT allowed outside your exclusive use area UNLESS they are on a leash.
Pet Registry
The trustees have created a pet registry (attached), and now require all residents with pets to complete this (one form per pet). This will allow us to better monitor pets on the estate, and should your pet be lost, to help you find it.
Pathways
The walkways may not be used for anything but pedestrian traffic. Please do not ride bicycles on the pathways, or on the bridge at the gazebo; it is dangerous and accidents can occur.
Board of Estate Agents
In order to ensure the safety and security of all residents in Kleinmeer, the trustees have approved a Board of Estate Agents, who have all agreed to and signed the Kleinmeer Estate Agent Guidelines. The operations of these estate agents will be monitored and reviewed on an annual basis. Should you wish to sell or let your unit, you will need to use one of them.
